Marco was great! He quickly fixed our heater and clearly explained what the issue was. I really appreciated him wearing booties to enter the apartment and leaving no mess behind. He also walked me through how to use the new thermostat interface, which was super helpful.
Ezekiel did my seasonal heating check and evaluation last week. He checked my on roof unit, and proceeded to check my attic. He showed me pictures, and explained how my insulation had compressed over the years. It was so thin that the 2 x 4s were showing through.
He was very professional and courteous, as he gave me various options to consider. Another wonderful technician from JW!
The first thing the technician did was find fault with the existing equipment and trash the company that did the initial AC installation . Instead of addressing the issue that I had called about to begin with , he brought the company “engineer” over who then proceeded to try to charge me $12,500 dollars to basically redo a bunch of work that was not necessary . When I did my research I discovered that the cost of the parts they wanted to replace was less than $1500 and the rest was all for labor . And when I asked specific questions about the bill and how they planned to correct whatever problems they had come up with up with , they were vague and avoided giving me any explanations. It was evident that they were just trying to take advantage of a 65 year old retired single woman and rip me off, assuming I was ignorant and didn’t know better .
Furthermore , they intentionally disconnected the heating unit entirely and messed with the wiring so I was without heat for days .
